MED-ARB INITIATIVE MED-ARB INITIATIVE
The idea of an economic and cost effective Dispute Resolution practice (DRC PRACTICE) distinct from Alternative Dispute Resolution practice (ADR PRACTICE) was conceptualized sometime in 2005. With its main goal being the creation of effective avenues through which one would address the prevalent challenges of Legal Practice and ADR practice in Nigeria. By enhancing the provision of access to justice for all.
The conceptualization of the practice led to the publication of a book titled Introduction to Dispute Resolution Practice (2008).followed by the training of Lagos State Citizens Mediation Centre Mediator s in 2012, then the introduction of Dispute Resolution Online services in 2014 registered with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
With the growing body of knowledge and practice experience of Dispute Resolution, an organization emerged to develop the practice.
The Organization/ Body was formally registered in 2021v as the MED-ARB INITIATIVE a Company limited by guarantee, a not-for-profit Organisation

To play a proactive role in the development of dispute resolution practice and facilitate access to Justice.
